150 vehicles were checked in the Friendly City where 30 were left unlocked on Friday
WOODSTOCK - On Friday, December 4th Woodstock Police were sent out around the Friendly City to check if vehicles were being locked in parking lots.
150 vehicles were checked and police found 15 vehicles unlocked, 8 GPS units visible, 2 cell phones, 2 wallets, 3 prescription medication bottles, 2 dogs, and newly purchased parcels were found in 30 vehicles.
Those who locked their doors, rolled up their windows, and had valuables out of sight received a congratulations card, and the others received a card with information on why you should lock your vehicle to keep your valuables safe.
