Downtown businesses will be able to rent a patio from the City.
WOODSTOCK - Woodstock City Council has decided to buy a temporary patio system, so it could be rented to downtown businesses.
Those looking to have a seasonal patio will be able to rent the EZblocks system from the City for $2,000. This is a one time fee for the whole season.
Council signed off on the $65,000 purchase last week and the money is coming from the downtown reserve fund. Officials say the EZblocks system works with new and existing infrastructure so it will offer a consistent look and approach to downtown patios.
