The quarterly payment from OLG has been given to Woodstock.
WOODSTOCK - The first quarter OLG payment has been made to Woodstock.
It comes in at $451,653, and is from April 1st to June 30th. Since the Casino opened in 2001, Woodstock has received $30,779,029.
Oxford County MPP, Ernie Hardeman, says how important the relationship is between Woodstock and OLG.
"Revenues from OLG’s Municipality Contribution Agreement allow Woodstock to invest in infrastructure and provide funding for critical community services. Provincial revenues from Gateway Casinos Woodstock will help improve the quality of life for families across Ontario.”
The funds come as Woodstock hosts a Gateway Casino.
