WOODSTOCK - The Friendly City will remember a fallen Wooodstock Police K9 officer today.
Police Service Dog Taz passed away on Monday July 3rd while assisting in an investigation in Stratford. He ingested drugs and later died in a vet clinic.
A private memorial service will be taking place at the Community Complex today for police officers, close family members, and friends. Members of the public will be able to watch the service on Rogers TV tomorrow.
The public will be also able to witness the procession along Finkle Street, starting at Southside Park at 11:00 a.m. today. You won't be able to park at Southside Park, the Community Complex, or Finkle Street because the spots will be reserved for those attending the service.
We will livestream the funeral procession on the Heart FM Facebook page.
