The only TA Travel Centre in Canada is closing, with the last day on April 26th.
It is the end of an era for the TA Travel Centre in Woodstock.
The popular truck stop is closing, with the last day on April 26th. This was the only TA Travel Centre location in Canada.
Senior Director of Communications Tina Arundel confirmed the news via email this morning.
"TravelCenters of America has entered into a purchase and sale agreement with an undisclosed third party for the sale of TA’s site in Woodstock, Ontario, Canada. Accordingly, the Company has sent the required notices to all team members who may be affected by such an event. The Company is currently continuing to operate its Woodstock site and provide pay and benefits to team members as usual."
No word yet on what business will be moving into the TA site along the highway.
