There will be dedicated parking spots for food trucks at Southside Park, Cowan Fields and the Cowan Park Sportsplex.
WOODSTOCK - You might spot more food trucks in Woodstock in the near future.
City council has approved an update to the refreshment vehicle bylaw, which will create special parking spaces for food trucks at Cowan Fields, the Cowan Park Sportsplex, and Southside Park. The spaces would be available on a first come first serve basis and the trucks would also have to be complaint with the operating criteria set by the parks department.
The updated bylaw also allows for refreshment carts that sell popcorn, cotton candy and more.
It's going to be easier for refreshment vehicles to navigate through the permit process as well, while they're applying for a spot at a City event.
