The 20-year-old was charged with stunt driving, while awaiting trial for charges connected to a fatal crash.
MISSISSAUGA - Charges have been laid against a Woodstock man after police stopped a speeding driver in Mississauga.
Peel Regional Police officers pulled over the vehicle in the area of Winston Churchill Boulevard and Argentina Road on Saturday, May 23rd. They charged the 20-year-old driver with stunt driving, speeding, failure to surrender a driver's licence, and driving a motor vehicle contrary to emissions regulations.
His licence was suspended for a month and his vehicle was impounded for two weeks.
Police say that same driver is also awaiting trial for a fatal crash that happened in Brampton back in November 2024. He's facing one count of dangerous driving causing death and two counts of dangerous driving causing bodily harm in that case.
