The Woodstock Police have laid a charge after stopping an impaired driver on Norwich Ave.
WOODSTOCK - A 27-year-old woman from Woodstock is facing an impaired charge.
Yesterday at 6:40 p.m. Woodstock Police were made aware of an erratic driver on Norwich Road, and the responding officer found the vehicle and made a traffic stop. During the stop, the officer noticed drug paraphernalia inside the vehicle and noticed signs of impairment consistent with drug use.
The woman was tested by a qualified Drug Recognition Expert and is now facing one count of operation while impaired by alcohol and drugs. She also had her licence suspended for 90 days and her vehicle impounded for 7 days.
