DUBAI/WOODSTOCK - A Woodstonian has been crowned the 2024 Mrs. Global World!
Dr. Grace Carbilledo-Vincent was Mrs. Philippines at the World Global International Beauty Pageant in Dubai this weekend.
She's going bring home three crowns to Oxford County. In addition to winning Mrs. Global World, Carbilledo-Vincent also won Most Talented and Mrs. Queens of Hearts.
Her husband Doug Vincent has been posting about the experience on social media saying he's very blessed to be living his life with such a beautiful, warm-hearted and loving woman, and he knew she was a winner from the first day they met 20 years ago.
Woodstock Mayor Jerry Acchione also shared his congratulations on Facebook, saying we're lucky to have her living in Oxford County and now the world knows as well.
Grace grew up in the Philippines and she practised dentistry in Cebu for several years. She's a Past President of the Banilad Metro Rotary Club, and met her husband Doug while he was in the Philippines for a Rotary trip. Doug is very involved in the Woodstock-Oxford Rotary Club and he's also a Rotary UNAC United Nations Ambassador.
Grace eventually relocated to Woodstock and she's now a Past President of the Woodstock-Oxford Rotary Club.
