WOODSTOCK - The newest addition to the Woodstock Police Service has a name.
Their newest K9 was looking for his forever name on the force, and a contest was put out to the community.
Nearly 4000 entries were submitted, and a winner has been picked.
Cruz will be the newest member of the force on the streets with Constable Skillings.
A total of 12 people suggested the name Cruz.
Woodstock Police want to extend a huge thank you to the entire community for their suggestions and support through this process, as they are having this canine come in to replace Taz, who was lost in the line of duty.
