Woodstock Police officers have responded to 23 crashes this past week.
WOODSTOCK - The Woodstock Police Service has noticed a concerning trend in the number of crashes.
Officers have responded to 23 crashes this week alone.
In a post on Facebook, the police service says there is a pressing need for increased road safety awareness among drivers.
It's encouraging all drivers to pay close attention whenever they're behind the wheel. This includes watching the speed limit and avoiding all distractions, particularly cellphones. Police say drivers should prioritize their safety, not their phones.
