It was a good month for Woodstock Police, as they have come out with the numbers for August.
WOODSTOCK - The Woodstock Police have released their numbers from August.
During the month, they responded to 2,193 occurrences, made 129 arrests, and put in 174 foot-patrol hours. Last month there were 267 charges laid, including 152 Criminal Code charges, 75 Highway Traffic Act charges and 14 Controlled Drugs and Substances Act charges.
The August numbers for occurrences were down compared to July, along with the number of arrests. The foot-patrol hours went up last month, while the number of charges laid were less. Both the Criminal Code and Highway Traffic Act charges were lower in August, but the Controlled Drug and Substances Act charges increased.
