We could see daytime highs in the 30s and overnight lows in the 20s over the next few days.
OXFORD - Environment Canada has issued a yellow warning for heat in Oxford County.
Officials say we could see daytime highs in the 30s over the next few days along with overnight lows in the low 20s. We're supposed to get the worst of it tomorrow with a high of 35, feeling like 42 with the humidity, and an overnight low of 23.
Make sure you drink lots of water and stay in a cool place whenever possible. It's also a good idea to close your blinds or shades, and you should open your windows if it's cooler outside than it is inside.
Southwestern Public Health has a list of local cooling centres on its website online here.
The heat warning should end Wednesday or Thursday evening, so make sure you drink lots of water in the meantime.
