Woodstock Police have put the wraps on their traffic blitz. 120 charges were laid against local drivers at the city's top 10 crash prone intersections over the last couple of weeks. It's in an effort to get more drivers to obey the rules of the road. Cutting down on injuries and deaths in collisions is one of the three pillars of the Safe Communities project. The charges include: failing to stop for a red or amber traffic signal, disobeying stop signs, the use of hand held communications devices (driving distracted), speeding and careless driving.
