Two major corporate sponsors were recognized at the United Way Oxford campaign reveal.
OXFORD COUNTY - United Way Oxford surpassed it's 2014 campaign goal by $50,000. In front of over 100 attendees campaign Co-Chairs: Dan Henry and Chris Friesen along with other United Way volunteers revealed the 2014 campaign had raised $1,175,236. Guests had to guess how much the campaign raised by rearranging the numbers on the tables. Proceeds from the campaign are donated to community programs and services. United Way is the second largest funder of Oxford County behind the government. The campaign was celebrating it's 50th anniversary by showing slides of previous United Way campaigns.
