There is a new facility in Ingersoll. 214 Carson Co. has built at 100 Newman Street, and the facility is now up for lease.
INGERSOLL - 214 Carson Co. has made its way into Ingersoll.
The company builds and leases buildings in industrial areas around Canada.
Mayor of Ingersoll, Brian Petrie says having this third party will benefit the Town.
"Right now, it's always been about buying land and building. Some companies aren't comfortable with that. This is something that is new, that has never happened in at least a decade in Ingersoll, so it's exciting."
Petrie adds what this partnership means for Ingersoll.
"Carson Co. and the Town of Ingersoll have a great working relationship. We have a lot of shared similarities. With leasing, they want to maximize their footprint on the ground, which is good for the Town of Ingersoll as far as tax generation goes."
Petrie says this deal is maximizing the use of the land in the Town.
The building is located at 100 Newman Street.
