11 people are facing a total of 222 charges in a double doctoring investigation. Oxford OPP with their Drug Unit and Organized Crime Unit made several arrests this week. Police are crediting partnerships with local pharmacies, physicians, and Ministry of Health. They say several prescriptions were being filled out for a variety of pharmaceutical painkillers, which were then being trafficked on the streets of Oxford County. The majority of the people charged are Oxford County residents, but a couple of them are London residents. Police also seized a "significant amount" of Oxycontin of various strengths, benzodiazepines, and methylphenidates. Oxford OPP Constable Michelle Murphy says it is a significant bust. "Really, it will be a significant dent. These people were getting regular prescriptions and that's all been compromised now that these prescriptions are not being received anymore." Murphy also says it should be a message to those still involved in the trafficking of prescription painkillers. "We hope that people realize we are on top of things. Investigations take a while, but we do what's going on out there. Together with these cooperations between various community partners, we can make a difference." Here are the list of those charged: Willa CARRIER, Age 44, Oxford County Jesse DAVIS, Age 27, Oxford County Angela EARLE, Age 35, Oxford County Darryl GOFORTH, Age 30, Oxford County Waite MALSKAITIS, Age 50, Oxford County James McELHONE, Age 30, Oxford County Colleen MCKAY, Age 46, London Shannon MCKEE, Age 37, London Michael RICHARDS, Age 36, London Stephen SHELLY, Age 22, Oxford County
