Officers from 6 detachments including Woodstock were cracking down on speeding and distracted driving in Stratford today.
STRATFORD - Officers from Woodstock, London, St. Thomas, Aylmer and Strathroy-Caradoc were in Stratford today as part of the 4 Counties Traffic Initiative.
The objective of the program is for officers from different communities to visit different areas and help out with targeted enforcement and promote road safety and education. Today officers charged 27 people with a variety of offences.

Distracted Driving (cell phone) - 5
No Muffler – 1
Disobey Sign – 1
Fail to stop at stop sign – 1
Seatbelt – 1
No front plate – 1
Compliance checks -2
Insurance – 1
No licence – 1
Expired Permit - 1
The purpose of this program is to promote road safety and education.
