Officers from 5 different detachments handed out 29 tickets on Thursday in Woodstock.
WOODSTOCK - Woodstock Police Service has a partnership with Elgin County, Middlesex County, Perth County and Oxford County in a quad county traffic initiative.
On Thursday officers from all 5 detachments were in Woodstock. Police charged 29 drivers over a 5 hour period for speeding, distracted driving and failing to have insurance.
The traffic blitz happens every year in the four counties to promote road safety and partnerships.
Woodstock Police would like to remind drivers to slow down and keep your eyes on the road and hands on the wheel.
