It was another successful Running with the Bulls in Tillsonburg, as 457 runners helped raise funds for the Kindred Foundation.
TILLSONBURG - The third annual Running with the Bulls was a huge success.
Over 450 runners took part in the event, which raises money for Kindred Foundation, who do great work funding cancer research and programs across Canada. Organizer Tamara Bull says how much money the event has raised.
"So, this year, we raised just over $28,000. I was hoping to hit a cumulative amount over three years of $75,000. And in the end, we raised $80,589.14."
Bull is looking to bring the grand total to over $100,000 as the event will return for its fourth year. Bull talks about the growth over the three years of the event.
"The first year that I did it, I had 222 participants. Last year I had 375, and this year 457."
Bull hopes the number of participants continues to grow. The 4th annual Running with the Bulls is planned for July 17, 2027, and registration is expected to open later this year.
