The 401 was shut down for the majority of Sunday afternoon following a three-vehicle collision and truck fire.
No one was hurt in a three-vehicle collision and truck fire on Highway 401 between Sweaburg Road and Folden's Line.
The incident prompted the Ontario Provincial Police to shut down the highway for several hours starting mid-afternoon yesterday.
The collision happened on the westbound side of the highway at Sweaburg Road.
The fire from the collision caused thick smoke which forced the closure of the eastbound side of the 401 at Folden's Line.
