Police from Woodstock were in Stratford yesterdays as part of the Four Counties Traffic Initiative.
STRATFORD - Police officers from four different counties handed out 45 tickets in the Festival City.
Police from Stratford, Aylmer, St. Thomas, London, Woodstock, Strathroy and the OPP are taking part in the Four Counties Traffic Initiative. They will be visiting the different cities and focusing on traffic compliance. During a 5 hour period yesterday in Stratford 75 vehicles were stopped. 30 warnings were issued and 45 drivers were given tickets.
The charges laid are:
- Speeding 10
- Distracted Driving 2
- Expired Validation 12
- No Drivers Licence 1
- Expired Insurance 3
- No Seat Belt 2
- No Muffler 1
- Disobey Stop Sign 14
