A collision between a tractor and Honda Civic claimed the life of a Wellesley man. His passenger a 5 year old boy has survived.
TAVISTOCK - One man is dead after a Friday evening crash between a car and a tractor towing a grain bin. A Honda Civic was driving northbound on Highway 59 when it ran into the back of a grain bin being towed by a tractor. The Civic spun out of control and into the oncoming path of a Dodge pick-up truck. The male driver of the Honda Civic was pronounced dead at the scene and the 5 year old passenger was transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The female driver of the pick-up was also sent to hospital non-life threatening injuries. While the driver of the tractor suffered no injuries.
The deceased driver of the Honda Civic has been identifed as 40 year old Scott Draper of Wellesley.
OPP are investigating the cause of the crash.
