Members of the Southside Home and School Association will be selling 50/50 tickets at multiple Woodstock locations this month.
WOODSTOCK - The Southside Home and School Association will be holding a 50/50 draw fundraiser this month.
Chairperson Lauren Musson says all of the money raised will go towards a great cause.
"We want to build an inclusive accessible playground for all children at the school so everybody can have a fun healthy activity at recess."
1,000 tickets have been printed and they will be sold at $10 a piece.
Musson says they are hoping to sell as many tickets as possible.
"The pot for our 50/50 has potential to grow to around $10,000 if all tickets are sold and of course the winner would get half and the school would get half for the playground."
Members of the association will be selling the tickets at the Woodstock Zehrs tomorrow (11am - 2pm), the Woodstock Farmers Market on Friday November 25th (8am - 12pm), Zehrs again on Sunday November 26th (11am - 2pm) and at C&D Lanes on Wednesday November 30th. You can also arrange your purchase online by e-mailing homeandschool.southside@gmail.com.
