12 bands, 70 entries and a Queen Victoria look-alike, that's what you can expect at the 65h annual Victoria Day parade in Woodstock. Community Services Manager Brad Janssen says the parade route will be the same as previous years starting at the Woodstock Fair Grounds at 10am then heading west down Dundas Street to Wellington, then Henry, south on Finkle to Southside Park. Road closures along the parade route are expected to start at 7:30 this morning. Janssen says all vehicles in the parade will have purple balloons on them for Victoria Stafford. Following the parade there will be the 5th Annual Band Tattoo at 1pm at Southside Park, you are asked to bring a food donation for the local food bank.
