Over $43,000 was raised for the Alzheimer Society Southwest Partners.
WOODSTOCK - The Walk for Alzheimer's was a big success in Woodstock this year.
Leslie Rand, the Director of Development for the Alzheimer Society Southwest Partners, says lots of people hit the track at College Ave Secondary School on Saturday.
"The rain held off so we had lots of folks come out, walk and just celebrate and enjoy being together and supporting people living with dementia."
They helped raise over $43,000 for programs that support people living with dementia, as well as their families and care partners. You can find more information about the Alzheimer Society Southwest Partners and the programs and services it offers online here.
