Members of Unifor Local 88 will be hosting their Teddy Bear Christmas family fun day tomorrow.
INGERSOLL - Unifor Local 88 is hosting their annual Teddy Bear Christmas to give children in need a cuddly companion. They're asking for donations from teddy bears, stuffed toys, sporting equipment or children's games.
Chairperson of Unifor Local 88's Recreation Committee, Julie Fenn shares what to expect.
"We have a collection of toys that we've been gathering; it's the end of our toy drive with Unifor Local. We'll have Dotsy the Clown there, free pizza, Santa Claus will be making a visit, they'll be face painting and there will be photos with Santa as well."
Fenn also talks about some of the other projects they have to help families in need.
"We're doing a toy drive at the CAMI plant with the members. Toys can be dropped off at the in plant, any toy will be accepted or money. We're also collecting money for the food bank, Inter Church of Ingersoll as well to help the families in need."
The family fun day out will be this Sunday from 1pm to 4pm at the Unifor Local 88 Hall. Donations can be dropped off any time.
