WOODSTOCK - People will have a chance to indulge their sweet tooth at this year's Grand Desserts in support of the Canadian Cancer Society.
The night features delicious desserts, door prizes, a silent auction, and Committee Member Kelli Lang they will also have some holiday demonstrations.
"We're going to have a hair demonstration - holiday hair demonstration - we're going to have a table settling napkin demonstration. There is also going to be a live piano player and we also have a silent auction with some great items."
Some of those items include espresso makers and Raptors tickets.
They are also welcoming a special guest speaker - Lang says they are excited to have John Hunt speak.
"This event is primarily women, but it's not just for women. So we really wanted - us as sisters, daughters, wives - to hear a man's point of view of what its like to live with cancer. And he's so strong. And he's such a great volunteer and such a giving man."
Some of the culinary masters taking part include Jed Lau, Sally Creek, Personal Service Coffee, and Chocolatea.
Tickets for the November 15th event at the Quality Hotel and Suites are available at the Canadian Cancer Society's office, or you can call 519-537-5592
