OXFORD/BRANT - The special weather statement remains in effect for Oxford and Brant.
Environment Canada says we're in for wind gusts between 70 and 90 kilometres per hour today, starting this morning and continuing through the evening.
This is all thanks to a Colorado low that's making it's way across the province, bringing strong winds to northeastern and southern Ontario.
Strong winds can easily toss around loose objects, break tree branches and cause power outages.
