ONTARIO - Some big updates on the COVID-19 vaccination front today.
All Ontarians over the age of 18 can now schedule an appointment to receive the new bivalent booster dose, to better protect themselves against the Omicron variants.
Parents and caregivers can also book an appointment for their kids between the ages of six months old and five years old to receive Pfizer's pediatric vaccine.
Appointments can be scheduled online using the province's booking portal.
Here in the Southwestern Public Health region, we have two mass vaccination clinics. The Woodstock clinic is located at the Oxford Auditorium and it's open on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. The St. Thomas clinic is located inside Southwestern Public Health's Talbot Street office and it's open Monday to Friday.
You can find more information regarding the mass vaccination clinic hours and upcoming pop-up clinics online here.
Walk-in appointments will not be accepted, so you must book in advance.
