All 14 OCL libraries are moving to curbside pickup. The public can still access computers for essential uses at the Tillsonburg and Ingersoll locations.
OXFORD COUNTY - All 14 branches of the Oxford County Library will be closed to in person browsing during the stage 2 lockdown.
The libraries will go back to offering curbside service only.
The new measures will include the following:
- No in-person browsing at library branches.
- Books, videos, games, electronics, toys, musical instruments, Kitchen Library items and more must be reserved for pick-up at local branches.
You can place a hold, by calling your local branch or by sending an email to curbsidebooks@ocl.net. Patrons can also place holds and reserve items online at www.ocl.net.
Patrons are asked to self-screen before picking up items, wear a 3-ply mask and stay at least six feet apart from others.
Items can be returned to library drop boxes at any time.
Seniors and families with travel limitations can access Oxford County Library’s Check-in Calls service by calling 226-232-5092. Through this service they can register for a card, arrange home delivery of materials, or learn about library and community services.
Public computer use may be available by appointment at the Tillsonburg and Ingersoll branches for essential uses, such as accessing government forms and information (e.g., printing an Ontario enhanced vaccination certificate).
