An all-candidates forum will be taking place at Harrington Hall tonight and everything will get underway at 7:00 p.m.
ZORRA - Residents of Zorra Township will get an opportunity to meet their future Council.
At 7:00 p.m. tonight, Harrington Hall is hosting an all-candidates forum ahead of the upcoming municipal and school board election on October 24th.
Those attending include Ward 1 Councillor candidates Emily Moitoso and Kevin Stewart, Ward 4 Councillor candidates Crystal Finch and Steven MacDonald, candidates for Oxford trustees for the Thames Valley District School Board Seth Allen, David Edward Cripps and Leeanne Hopkins and London District Catholic School Board candidates Ana Paula Alves & Mary Holmes.
Mayor Marcus Ryan, Ward 2 Councillor Katie Grigg and Ward 3 Councillor Paul Mitchell have all been acclaimed and will also attend.
A representative of the Township of Zorra will briefly outline the new voting process at 7:00 p.m. and then each candidate, including those who have been acclaimed, will be given an opportunity to speak briefly before fielding questions from the audience.
Refreshments will be available, however if you can't make it, the session will also be live streamed.
