It's not immediately clear what kind of impact this might have on Amazon packages being delivered as every worker at the Brampton facility must now self isolate for 14 days.
BRAMPTON - Peel Public Health has ordered the Amazon Plant in Brampton to shut down because of a COVID-19 outbreak at the facility.
The order will take effect for all shifts at midnight tonight. Every worker at the facility is being told to self isolate for 14 days.
Peel Public Health says that high risk exposure for everyone at Amazon Heritage is a possibility. It's not immediately clear if this will create any delays on Amazon packages being shipped in the Province.
