Local people are grouping together to support a lady who's being called an "Angel in Disguise." Aggie takes in animals who are abandoned or neglected and runs a makeshift animal shelter from her home. She does this with her own money and the odd donations she can get from friends and businesses. Aggie has been entered into the Aviva Community Fund with hopes of getting some assistance. Rachel Speijer was one of the people who nominated Aggie. She says the contest could make a big difference: "They will donate one million dollars to various people who get nominated or different organizations. And you have to go through several voting rounds to get through. And once you're done, hopefully you can win money some money for a local person or organization that you're sponsoring." Speijer says Aggie's selflessness qualifies her for the support: "She doesn't do what she does for recognition or reward. She cares more about the animals then she does about what she does so, we just thought that she deserved something a little extra special." She needs at least 6,000 votes by October 15th. The title of Aggie's cause is 'Angel in Disguise' and the idea # is ACF14087. Click the link to vote: http://www.avivacommunityfund.org/ideas/acf14087
