WOODSTOCK - Southwestern Public Health is reporting another measles exposure at the Woodstock Hospital.
If you were in the emergency room between between 7:09 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday March 11th and you were born in 1970 or later, you should call the health unit if you're not up to date on your vaccinations. This includes people who were only there for a new minutes, because measles is highly contagious and it can linger in the air for up to two hours. The phone number for the health unit is 1-800-922-0096.
The Woodstock Hospital also has a message for the people out there who have measles, think they have measles or have been exposed to someone with measles in the past 21 days. If you have to go to the hospital for whatever reason, you should call 519-421-4211 with extension 0 and you receive further instructions.
