Residents are outraged after an anti LGBTQ sign was posted on the edge of Norwich ahead of Nostalgia Days.
NORWICH - A sign posted on the edge of Norwich is causing quite the stir as the town celebrates Nostalgia Days.
The sign is clearly an attack against the LGTBQ community. It reads LGBTQS hijacked the rainbow! It's not a celebration of sins, god judges. The sign which is located on Main Street just past the old Co-Op location has sparked outrage in the tiny community.
Several people have expressed their disgust to Heart FM through Facebook and over the phone. A group is currently organizing a protest in hopes of convincing the man to take it down.
We will continue to follow this story as it develops.
