Police arrested two people after an armed robbery home invasion in Paris.
PARIS - Two people have been arrested after a home invasion armed robbery in the small community of Paris.
Police were called to Dummies street on Saturday night after two people forced their way into a home. Once they got inside they got into an altercation with the victim and stole a cell phone. The suspects fled on foot and were arrested a short while later.
24 year old Carly Lynn Matheson of Haldimand County and 26 Kyle Andrew Williams-Lemos are facing a number of charges. They include robbery with a weapon times x 4, possession of a weapon, break and enter, assault with a weapon x 4 and uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm.
County of Brant OPP members made the arrest along with the West Region Emergency Response team, Criminal investigations Unit and K-9 unit.
