Oxford County Member of Parliament, Arpan Khanna will be meeting with residents as he will host a pancake breakfast.
OXFORD COUNTY - Oxford County's Member of Parliament will be hosting a breakfast.
Arpan Khanna will be at his Woodstock office tomorrow from 9:30 to 11 for a pancake breakfast. Khanna says many businesses have joined together.
"We have great partners partnering up with us, Jakeman's will be bringing the pancake batter and maple syrup. We have Kintore Coffee bringing us the hot coffee, we have Norpac Beef bringing sausages, we have our dairy farmers providing us with milk, we have grain farmers coming out and helping as well."
He mentions what he hopes this breakfast turns into in the future.
"It's our first appreciation event, so we're not sure what the turnout's going to be. We've had great interest. Next year, I'm hoping to do a larger one in a bigger park and make it more of a festival."
He mentions there will be music, activities and mini hockey sticks given out to the kids that show up. It is a free event, and Khanna wants to use the event to hear what the residents of Oxford County are concerned about as he will be heading back for the Fall Session at Parliament.
