A 20 year old man from Oxford County is facing numerous charges after a B&E at the Lesser Brothers Jewellers right before Christmas.
INGERSOLL - Oxford OPP have made an arrest after a break and enter at the Lesser Brothers Jewellers in Ingersoll.
The store was broken into last month, just before Christmas. The front glass door was smashed and around $8,000 in designer watches were stolen.
On Friday police arrested 20 year old Daniel Maloney of Oxford County and charged him with possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000.
Maloney is also facing trespassing charges after he was found lurking and entering various properties on Feltz drive.
A tip from the public led to his arrest early Friday morning. Constable Ed Sanchuk says the police are grateful for the tip.
"The Oxford County OPP would like to thank the alert resident that immediately contacted police. As a direct result of their quick thinking actions, officers were able to take the male into custody without incident."
