Oxford County OPP have successfully stopped the dangerous acts of mischief taking place in Ingersoll. Since Monday, police have been investigating the cutting of numerous hydro locks in various areas in the town, which resulted in the loss of power to many residences and businesses. Police arrested and charged six people including 19 year old Calvin Vanderheide, 18 year old Emily Vanderheide and 18 year old Ryan Wavell. As well as three 17 year olds who cannot be identified under the Youth Criminal Justice Act. All six were held for bail hearings and appeared in the Ontario Court of Justice in Woodstock. The estimated cost of the damage is approximately $75,000.
