An opportunity to bond with your furry friend comes this weeknd as The Woodstock BIA presents Bark in the Park.
WOODSTOCK - The Woodstock BIA's Bark in the Park is happening this weekend.
Pet owners can bring their dogs to Museum Square, which will feature vendors selling dog-related items.
Manager of the Downtown Woodstock BIA, Virginia Armstrong says the event will be supporting a local cause.
"Of course, it's all about local. It's all about local, we're supporting a local rescue and providing lots of opportunities for people to come out and see what we have in downtown Woodstock."
She says pet owners are encouraged to bring their furry friends downtown.
"It's just a fun for all weekend in downtown Woodstock. It just has a special touch, right? And you bring your furry friend down and go for a walk and there'll be water bowls out, and lots for everybody to do."
Armstrong adds if you buy from one of the Woodstock BIA businesses, you can bring your receipt to Museum Square to receive a gift.
Proceeds from the event will go to Tiny Paws Rescue and Wienerfest.
Bark in The Park is free to attend and it goes from 10:00 to 4:00pm on Sunday.
