The Brant OPP had to close off a portion of Queen Street South in Scotland for six hours after someone barricaded themself in a home yesterday.
SCOTLAND - An individual is now in police custody after someone barricaded themself in Scotland home.
Brant OPP officers were called out to a home on Queen Street South at around 5:20 p.m. last night. The West Region Tactics and Rescue Unit (TRU), West Region Emergency Response Team (ERT), K-9, and West Region Mobile Support Unit attended the scene.
The person refused the leave the home, but officers were eventually able to arrest them.
Queen Street South was closed for about six hours during the investigation.
