The awards recognize businesses and organizations that help to build the tourism industry in Ontario with purpose and passion.
BEACHVILLE - The proud recipient of the 2022 Innovator of the Year award is the Beachville District Museum!
Ontario’s Southwest Regional Tourism Organization announced the winners of the Tourism Innovation Awards on Tuesday. There were three awards presented during the ceremony:
- Innovator of the Year presented to the Beachville District Museum
- Innovative Experience of the Year presented to Afro Caribbean Culinary Experience by Yaya's Kitchen, and
- Sustainability Trailblazer of the Year presented to Jireh Hills Family Homestead
The awards recognize businesses and organizations that help to build the tourism industry in Ontario with purpose and passion. Applicants and winners of the tourism innovation awards are considered leaders of the tourism industry in Southwest Ontario.
Joanne Wolnik, OSW Executive Director says that the applicants show true love for the work they are part of.
"Their passion and dedication to innovation are truly inspiring, and they serve as an inspiration to us all. By working together and embracing innovation, we can continue to build a resilient and thriving tourism economy that benefits everyone in the region"
Ontario’s Southwest is one of 13 Regional Tourism Organizations across the province that is funded primarily through the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sport.
