Toronto Mayor Rob Ford says he's going to fight a ruling that he broke conflict of interest rules. Ford was accused of not declaring a conflict of interest when he participated in a council vote to recommend he repay donations he solicited for his private football foundation using official city letterhead. The mayor plans to appeal the ruling and told reporters that the left wing wants him out of office and they'll do anything to get him out. Meantime, a London City Council committee passed a motion this afternoon, asking Mayor Joe Fontana to step down until he's cleared of criminal charges. The motion was passed 3-1. However, the decision is not binding, and Fontana has made it clear he doesn't plan on stepping down while he faces fraud and breach of trust charges. Fontana is accused of using federal taxpayer money to pay for a deposit on his son's 2005 wedding at London's Marconi Club.
