CANADA - Health Canada has issued a recall for thousands of Bissell-branded steam cleaners because of reports of burns.
Attachments for several types of Steam Shot, OmniReach and Omni Steam cleaners have been reportedly detaching unexpectedly and spraying hot water or steam onto users, which is causing burns.
There has been just one burn injury in Canada, but 160 in the United States.
Health Canada says more than 95-thousand units were sold in Canada since October 2024.
