Bivalent Boosters Available Next Week For Ontarians Aged 12+

Ontarians aged 12 and older can get bivalent booster starting Monday.

All Ontarians aged 12 and older will soon be able to get a bivalent COVID-19 booster shot.

Starting Monday, anyone who has received their primary COVID-19 vaccines can make an appointment to get a bivalent booster.

Appointments can be made on the province's booking portal.

The province is also urging you to get your annual flu shot.

"The colder weather is here which means an increase in respiratory illnesses," said Sylvia Jones, Deputy Premier and Minister of Health. "Getting vaccinated remains the best defense against the flu and COVID-19 to help keep Ontarians healthy and out of hospitals. This will also ensure the province can continue its efforts to keep Ontario and its businesses open."

Flu shots will be made available through health care providers, public health units and participating pharmacies starting November 1st.
