Blandford-Blenheim has received several reports of nails and wires being found on the gravel roads, mostly in the southern end of the Township.
UPDATE: The Blanford-Blenheim Township has released an update on the cleaning of county roads.
They are saying that the roads will be cleaned up by mid to late next week and once that is done staff will start on the north sections of the roads.
These are the completed roads.
Township Rd 2 – County Rd 3 to Blandford Rd.
Township Rd 3 – County Rd 3 to Blandford Rd.
Township Rd 4 – County Rd 3 to Blandford Rd.
Township Rd 5 – County Rd 3 to Blandford Rd.
Township Rd 6 – County Rd 3 to Blandford Rd.
Township Rd 3 – County Rd 3 to Blenheim Rd
Township Rd 4 – County Rd 3 to Blenheim Rd.
Township Rd 9 – County Rd 3 to Dead end
Wolverton Road
Township Rd 10 – County Rd 3 to Blenheim Rd
These roads are being cleaned.

BLANDFORD-BLENHEIM - Remediation efforts are underway in Blandford-Blenheim after the Township received several reports of contaminants on gravel roads.
CAO/Clerk Rodger Mordue says people have been finding nails and wires, adding most of the reports have affected roads in the southern end of the Township.
According to a statement on the Township's Facebook page, crews are sweeping the roads with magnets to pick up unwanted materials. It also says this is a high-priority issue and the Township will be looking into ways it can prevent this from happening.
