A children's book inspired by a Woodingford Lodge resident will be launched in Woodstock in August.
WOODSTOCK - A local author will be launching her new children's book at the Woodingford Lodge.
Sandra Wilson will doing a reading and book signing of her new book called I'm Still Here.
She wrote the book after her uncle Leonard Scott who passed away peacefully while staying at Woodingford Lodge. His eight year old great grandson, Ashton Page-Segee, was by his side at the time, hand drawing the illustrations for the story.
The book is an encouraging story about the struggle to be noticed in life, and the understanding that we all shine in our own time.
Everyone is invited for the book launch on Monday August 14th at 2:00 p.m. They will have some some snacks and activities inspired by the book.
