BRANT COUNTY - The Brant OPP is still investigating a fatal hit and run from two years ago
Police say a pedestrian was hit by a pickup truck on Muir Road North on Sunday September 25th, 2022. The Brant OPP got the call at around 1:20 a.m. and the pedestrian, who was later identified as a 65-year-old man from Hamilton, died at the scene.
The truck was believed to be Ford F150 from the 2011 to 2014 model year. It would have had damage to the front right corner and it would have been missing a passenger mirror after the crash.
A picture of the truck was shared on the OPP West Region X page yesterday, asking anyone with information to come forward.
