Brant OPP briefs include the results of a lock it or lose it campaign and a teenager charged with mischief, trespassing and several other offences in Paris.
PARIS - A teenager from Brant County woke up with a bad hangover in jail on Sunday morning.
Police were called to downtown Paris just after midnight Saturday about person going through vehicles.
Officers arrested the 18 year old and charged him with mischief, trespassing, being intoxicated in a public place and possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000.

PARIS - Brant OPP Auxiliary and frontline officers conducted a lock it or lose it campaign on Saturday.
They checked around 150 vehicles with the help of the Paris Community Safety Group downtown. Of the vehicles checked 18 were unlocked or had valuables left out in plain sight.
Officers placed a small notice on vehicles checked indicating what safety precautions were neglected and offer simple prevention tips for drivers to protect their vehicles against theft. The notices also congratulate drivers who have secured their vehicle.
